Embroidery is the handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread or yarn. Embroidery swatches we offer a fusion of materials such as metal strips, pearls, beads, quills, sequins and much more. At AALA, it is available in a wide variety of thread and yarn color. The fabrics and yarns used in our traditional embroidery vary from piece to piece. Wool, linen, and silk have been used. Our embroidery thread is manufactured in cotton, rayon, and novelty yarns as well as in traditional wool, linen, and silk. We also offer ‘Ribbon Embroidery’ which is the use of a narrow ribbon in silk, to create floral motifs.
